On 18 June 2024, representatives from the Life Models’ Society (LMS) presented a talk at a life drawing symposium titled ‘Pose, Power, Practice: New Perspectives on Life Drawing’, hosted in London by the Drawing Foundation.
Current LMS President Asa and former President Fleur presented a talk titled ‘Model as Worker: Raising the Model Status with the Life Models’ Society’. The presentation covered topics such as:
- history of the LMS
- history of life modelling as work
- the LMS Working Conditions
- gender, disability and race in life modelling.
