The Life Models Society operates on a subscription basis, whereby artists, organisations, schools, and institutions pay a modest yearly fee, due each financial year. These fees are on a sliding scale and are an investment in our Artist Run Initiative, helping us to train models, educate artists, and advocate for workers rights. We are a not for profit organisation, run by life models, for the benefit of life models and artists.
We charge a yearly subscription and remove access if dues are not paid. This is for the safety and privacy of our models; while many models remain on the list for many years, others move in and out of modelling. Having a regularly updated model list provided to subscribers allows for only those who are currently working to be contacted by artists and groups, upholding the right to disconnect for those who are no longer modelling. We have a wide range of models listed, update our lists regularly, and encourage all subscribers to use the most up to date list that we provide.
The model list is only provided to those who pay our very modest subscription fees. Please note that distributing this list is a breach of the subscription contract with us, a breach of privacy laws, as well as undermining our ability to work to improve model quality, training, and welfare.

- Knowledge that models listed are trained to a high standard, familiar with the professional procedures and practices of life modelling
- Option to contact the LMS and have us put a call out for workers for any sessions you are having trouble filling
- Ability to book models who will replace themselves, should they become ill
- Ability to contact committee and receive support
- Ability to register complaints and receive support with difficulties eg artists exhibiting inappropriate behaviour towards models, complaints against models
